BIRTHDAY PARTIES AT THE BOOKSTORE
We offer themed and flexible birthday parties that can be tailored to suit your child's age and interests. Each of the parties below includes special decor that brings the selected theme to life, tableware (plates, cups, napkins, silverware), special activities that are age-appropriate and also center around the party's theme, access to our party photo booth, and gift bags for each of your guests. HARRY POTTER PARTY
Calling all witches and wizards! Head to Platform 9 3/4 and board the train for Hogwarts. Hartfield transforms into the prestigious school of witchcraft and wizardry for this magical birthday experience.
ALICE IN WONDERLAND TEA PARTY
Follow us down the rabbit hole and celebrate your unbirthday with Alice, the Mad Hatter and all of your Wonderland friends. This party has all of the charm and whimsy of the classic Lewis Carroll tale.
BOOK CAFE PARTY
This is the party for the budding book connoisseur, allowing them to share their favorite books with friends in a fun and creative way. The bookstore will transform into a literary cafe, serving up tasty reads. The birthday boy or girl will build the cafe's "menu" by choosing several books from a variety of genres and each guest will order a few to sample. Then, they'll submit their "takeout order" and leave with a brand new book in a restaurant takeout container. In between courses, there will be fun, bookish activities to keep guests entertained.
This theme is recommended for ages 9 and up.
STORYBOOK BIRTHDAY PARTY
Choose the story and leave the rest to us! Some recommended themes include Dr. Seuss, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Elephant and Piggie, and Pete the Cat. Tell us which story or character your child loves and we'll give them a special birthday themed around it.
